Current role: Chairman of the Fort Worden Public Development Authority, board member for First Federal Savings and Loan in Port Angeles, and chairman of the First Federal Community Foundation
Past organizations: I spent 6 years at Grameen Foundation as their VP of HR and an advisor to the president and board of directors. Prior to that, I spent 15 years at Microsoft, serving my last 5 years as senior director of people and organization capability working on culture, leadership, and talent management.
Why I like teaching at SPU: My focus in teaching at SPU is to embed the I-O students with practitioner models and skills while learning the latest theories and trends from the students. I find the relationship that we have in the learning community we create to be incredibly symbiotic.
